Archie Mae Dozier

THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF ARCHIE MAE DOZIER
WATERBURY - Archie Mae Dozier age 73, passed away on Monday March 7th, 2022 at Waterbury Gardens in Waterbury CT after an extended illness. She was the widow of Dan Dozier Jr.
Archie Mae Dozier was born May 29th,1948 in Brooklyn NY, the first born daughter of late Louise (Robison)Frazier and the late Archie Frazier. Archie Mae was raised and educated in Jamaica Queens/ Brooklyn N.Y. That's also where she married the love of her life, the late Dan Dozier Jr. and gave birth to Uranius Dozier and her late daughter, Christina Dozier. Archie Mae and her family then moved to Aiken S.C where she gave birth to 3 more children; the late Lashell Dozier, the late Tameka Dozier-Ingram and son Timothy Dozier. She spent many years in Aiken S.C before moving to Waterbury CT in the early 2000's. Archie Mae spent the last of her years traveling the world with family and friends making the best out of life. Throughout her life she was a devoted Jehovah Witness and Faithful Servant. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her daughter, Uranius Dozier of FL, son Timothy Dozier of TN, sister, Stella Rainey of Queens N.Y. and her grandchildren Edward Bosompra of CT, Tiatianne Carr of CT, Shaquima Dozier-Morey of CT, Stephanie Dozier of CT, Robert Rambert Jr of NY, Nakia Dozier of FL, Corey Mosley-Dozier of CT, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and great grandchildren. Archie Mae also was preceded in death by her eldest sister Maddie, brothers; Allen Frazier and Richard Frazier.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dozier will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family Relatives and friends may visit with the Dozier family on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 pm till 4:30 pm at the funeral home.
