Ardemia Maria Iacono (nee Scuntaro)
Its with profound sadness we announce the passing of Ardemia Maria Iacono. Born into eternal life on Thursday March 20, 2025 at age 78 years old. Beloved wife of Mario Iacono married 48 years, dear mother of Agostino (Rachel), Edward (Rachel), and Sergio (Angela) Iacono. Loving Nonna to Mario, Natalia, Isabella, Gabriella, Gianna, and Leonardo Iacono. Cherished sister of Gerina (Alejandro) Carrettiero. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Carolina Scuntaro.
Ardemia was a wife, mother, nonna, sister, friend, and loved by everyone who knew her. Her pleasure in life was taking care of her husband Mario, raising her sons, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, and traveling to Ischia, Italy and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was concerned about everyone else all the time and always put others before herself. Ardemia will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Additional Visitation at the Church of the Immaculate Conception 1023 E Russell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207 on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial starting at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ardemia's honor can be made to the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
