Ariel Schaup Obituary
Ariel was a proud employee of Mack Trucks for over 30 years until his retirement. As a young adult, he volunteered his time as a firefighter in Catasauqua. His life was dedicated to his wife and family to whom he was loved for his loyalty, dependability and reliability. He had a love for history, antique cars, and traveling, as well as an avid collector of clocks and jewelry.
He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Gemmel (Robert) of Allentown, grandchildren, Lisa Lackey (William) of New York City, Tina Cole (Andrew) of Allentown, great grandchildren, Sienna Lackey (14), Maya (19) and Drew (17) Cole. Siblings, the late Charles (Vic) Schaup and Elizabeth Kimmel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the memory of Ariel Schaup to Dementia Society of America by mail to PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901 or online at www.DementiaSociety.org/donate.
The family will announce a celebration of life at a later date.

Uncle ariel was married to my mom's sister. We all called him pappy. He loved all children. I loved going to "doe and pappy's growing up. When I became a grown adult my granddaughter jade continued with the tradition of going to doe and puppy's. She would get pappy to take her to the mall and he would buy her whatever she wanted. When I would object that he was spoiling her he would not hear of it.I have many great memories that will always be part of my life and hope that my aunt and pappy are back together again.

Uncle ariel was married to my mom's sister. They were known as doe and pappy. Pappy loved children. My granddaughter jade loved going to their house as I did growing up as a child
I will remember him with fondness and not sorrow because he lived a happy life!
