Arlene J. Bartholomew passed on July 9, 2023 at the age of 82. She was born on February 26, 1941 in Potsdam, New York to the late Wendell and Winifred Cox.
Arlene's family and friends mourn the loss of a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two children Johnny (Corey) Nowak, Larry (Renee) Nowak, and is preceded in death by her son Terry Nowak.
Arlene's grandchildren, Arlene (Chris) Nowak, Jennifer (Ryan) Nowak, Marisa (Savanah) Nowak, Devin Nowak, Travis (Mark) Nowak, and Ashley Nowak will deeply miss their grandmother. Her great-grandchildren, Max, Dottie, John, and Raina brought immense joy to her life.
Arlene is survived by her siblings David Cox, Thomas (Sue) Cox, and Shirley (Jim) Bowling. She is preceded in death by her identical twin Pauline Harbert and brother Wendell Cox.
Many nieces and nephews held a special place in Arlene's heart. Candi Along and Tracy Pytlak were always there for Arlene, helping and caring for her needs. She will be deeply missed.
Friends and family will gather to pay their respects at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home located at 280 S. Main St in Plymouth, MI on July 12th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM for the visitation service. The funeral service will take place on July 13th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home located at 280 S. Main St in Plymouth, MI.
Arlene will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her warm presence and caring nature touched the lives of those around her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones. As Arlene would always say, “laughter is the best medicine”
All are invited to the graveside committal service for Arlene "Arlie" Cox Bartholomew on Friday, July 21st, 10:00am at St. Ann's Cemetery in St. Regis Falls, New York.
