Arlene Claudette Campeggi

Arlene Claudette Campeggi, 87, of Lancaster passed away on November 15, 2025. She was born in Baltimore on February 2, 1938, the daughter of Wilbur Claude and Frances Gertrude Brown.

Arlene attended high school in Baltimore before going on to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology at Towson University, Summa Cum Laude. She then worked for thirty years as a Business Manager at Towson University. She also held close to her heart a deep love of animals, feeding stray cats throughout her life and donating monthly to the Humane Society.

As a child, Arlene was a talented singer, singing on the stage from age 3-12. Arlene was also an adept seamstress, often sewing Halloween costumes for her loved ones ranging from peapods to Indians to lions, as well as making beautiful dresses for her granddaughter.

None of this begins to explain what a wonderful, amazing, loving human being she was or how much she was loved. She will be missed more than she could ever have imagined.

Arlene is survived by her daughter, Dana (Stephen) Krammes, of Mount Joy, her son, Craig (Sherri) Campeggi, of Castle Rock, CO, as well as by her grandchildren Christopher, Julie, Barrett, and Kylan and great-grandson, Cody.

Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, her youngest son Bruce, and Frank Campeggi, the father of her children.
