Arlene Staggs Obituary

Arlene was a 1967 graduate of Turkey Run High School and attended Indiana Business College. She was a member of Wolf Creek Church, Marshall Baptist Church, National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE), and was a past president of the Postmasters League. She retired as Postmaster of the post office in Marshall, Indiana. Arlene loved to read and travel, especially to Hawaii.
Arlene is survived by her nephew, Daniel Miller; 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Elaine Kesner Miller.
Cremation has been chosen. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 East High Street, Rockville, Indiana.

I was honored to care for Arlene during her stay at Worthington Place. She was an incredibly kind-hearted lady. Arlene had a great sense of humor and was always appreciative and very loving. I cherished entering her room and being welcomed by her bright and beautiful smile; her eyes radiated genuine kindness. I deeply miss her. May you rest in peace, Mrs. Arlene Staggs.
