Don Edward Staggs

Don Edward Staggs was born on June 18, 1944 in Phoenix, Arizona and went to rest peacefully October 30, 2025 surrounded by the comfort of his family at the age of 81. He was a graduate of East Texas University in 1975. Don was honorably discharged from the United States Army and was proud to be a Veteran. Don retired after 24 years at SRP where he met his beautiful wife Meg.
Don was preceded in passing by Robert Z Staggs and Cleo S Staggs and brothers Carl and Dave. Don was a beloved and devout husband to sweetheart Meg Staggs, father to sons Robert, Zane, and Sean, and to daughters Jennifer, Wendy, Ann, and Trish. He was also cherished and admired by grandchildren Josh, Dallas, Cheyenne, Billiejean, Kyle, Connor, Trey, Brody, Julia, Emma, Mikey, Mattix, Jazmin and great-grandchildren.
He enjoyed hunting with his best friend Phil, watching old western films, carpentry, gardening, traveling with his wife Meg, and spending time with his family at home.
His life will be celebrated intimately with his family at home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Although this time is tragic, we will continue his legacy by "putting one foot in front of the other" just like Don always said. He will be missed deeply by those whose lives he touched and we will honor him forever.
