Chita Dilema

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and wife, Chita Dilema. She departed this life on Oct 15 at the age of 81.
Born on May 19,1944 in Manila, Philippines, Chita lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family and friends. She was the cherished wife of the late Harmon Dilema and together they built a life centered on faith and unconditional love.
Chita was the proud mother of four sons - Herb (wife Erica), Harold (wife Laurice), Howie (wife Shannon) and Henry who were her greatest joys and constant source of pride. Her legacy will continue through her adored grandchildren Sydnie, Kylie, Evan, Hayden, Mason, Avery, and Stella.
Those who knew Chita will remember her for her generous heart, her strength, and her ability to make people feel welcome. She especially enjoyed opening our home to the other kids from the neighborhood and sharing dinner. Whether hosting family gatherings, attending sporting events for one of the kids, or attending mass on Sundays, Chita embodied grace and love in all she did.
Chita will be missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
A celebration of Chita's life will be held on November 29 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church at 10 AM followed by a ceremony at Desert Hills Mortuary and Memorial Park at 11:30 AM.
