Arnold "Arnie" Stephen Kirsch, 73, of Allendale, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on March 1, 2024, surrounded by his family, succumbing to complications from Parkinson's Disease.
Born on June 3, 1950, to Florence and William Kirsch, Arnie and his elder brother Ira were raised in Elmwood Park. In 1968, he graduated as a Crusader from Elmwood Park Memorial High School.
In 1972, he graduated with a degree in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and began his career in education. A popular teacher, Arnie will be remembered as an innovator in his chosen field, credited with introducing Business Law into New Jersey's high school curriculum during his tenure as a Monmouth County educator for nearly three decades.
A diehard baseball fan and collector of significant historical artifacts, Arnie was a fascinating conversationalist, especially concerning early rock and roll music, current events, and politics.
He is survived by his loving brother, Ira and sister-in-law Jane of Naples, FL, his nephew, Bryan, his wife Casey and their son, Jackson Frederick of Hoboken, NJ, as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends and students.
