Douglas Vignali

Douglas John Vignali, 73, of Riverdale, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2024. Born in the Bronx, raised in Elmwood Park, NJ, he was a telecom executive for AT&T for over 40 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer, Yankees and Jets fan. Doug was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Always one to cut a rug at a celebration when Bon Jovi came on. Anyone who knew him, loved his sense of humor.His children will miss his daily weather updates.
Douglas graduated from Elmwood Park Memorial High School in 1968 where he played football and baseball. He then went on to graduate with a bachelor's degree from Temple University, and later continued his education and received his master'sdegree from Fairleigh Dickson University.
Survived by his wife Paula DeLucca (nee Rosica), first wife and best friend MaryAnn Vignali, children Vanessa (Chris) Martinand Kristen (Brian) Sanford, grandchildren Lola, Mackenzie, Jackson, Connor, and Chloe, and brother to Geraldine (John) Adamo.
Predeceased by his daughter Cherylynn Vignali, his mother Marie Vignali, and father John Vignali
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16th from 2 to 4p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., followed by a funeral service on Thursdayat 10 a.m., all at Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, 274 Market Street, Elmwood Park, NJ. Cremation will be private.
