She was born on June 28, 1930 in Aurora, IL to Arthur and Helen Scull. She was a graduate of East Aurora High School. Arthelyn was a homemaker. She volunteered at Wayside Cross, Copley Hospital, and Hauser Ross. She was a long-time member of Claim Street Baptist and Morningstar Church. Her interests were reading and word puzzles.
She is survived by her children, Roger (Dorothy) Wormley, Wayne Wormley, David (Leticia) Wormley and Janet (Jason) Hermann; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Armand, and her sister.
A special thank you to the staff at Jennings Terrace for the kind and compassionate care they provided, as well as Gentiva Hospice.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM at The Healy Chapel Sugar Grove, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL 60554. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12 PM. Pastor Jim Beherns will officiate. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery.
