Ozzy, Not one day has gone by that I have not thought of you. Your humor and wit was unmatchable, you are truly one of a kind and to say I miss you really does not even put that into words. Love you forever AB !!

Preseason camp 1st year at Salve playing football for the Seahawks. His energy and ability to be both serious and detail oriented but also had a wit that was pure gold.

Coach Bell, was a huge influence on my NCAA Football playing career, coaching career & life. I 1st met Coach Bell in 1996 at Salve as a player and his energy, detail and passion was AWESOME! As a player you were uber prepared for EVERY Opponent! He made you both mentally & physically tough as a player but more Importantly as a person! Then as I became an NCAA Coach he truly tought me a ton as an Assistant Coach at Salve and his mentorship and guidance was pure gold. I received a PHD level education in coaching from Coach Bell and his teachings were unreal. 25 years now into NCAA Coaching and many Championships later I will forever be in his debt. Coach Bell loved his players, fellow Coaches, family and friends greatly.
He would make you smile simply by his presence and his ability to make you believe you could succeed at ANYTHING was unreal. Thank you Coach Bell!
Miss You Coach!

I am absolutely devastated by the loss of Arthur, I grew up with him and have known him and was friends with him for 55 years. Like everyone else I knew he was very sick and I also knew this day would come but It is still very shocking that this awful day has arrived. Why this had to happen I will never know, there is no rhyme or reason to it. I am really saddened by the loss of my friend. This is a tough one and I guess time heals all wounds but not this time, at least not for me. A part of me is gone with the passing of my friend, I can no longer pick up the phone and reminisce about all of the fun times of the past. No one could tell a story like Arthur, super smart and very funny is how I will always remember him. Cancer picked the wrong guy this time as Arthur fought the savage for 6 long years and cancer is very lucky to still be around after tangling with Arthur for that length of time. I cannot believe I am even typing this, RIP Arthur Bell. You are loved forever !!

I´m torn to hear about Coach Bell´s passing. Like many have echoed-he wasn´t just a coach; he was a mentor, a leader, and a guiding force in my life and the lives of so many others. Bell had an incredible ability to see potential in each of us, even when we couldn´t see it ourselves. He molded us into the people we are today, teaching us not just about football, but about discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.
Some of my best memories on the field are thanks to him. His encouragement, his belief in us, and his unwavering commitment to our growth made every practice and game something to look forward to. The lessons he taught us went far beyond the sport, and I carry those lessons with me every day.
My thoughts are with his family and all who were touched by his wisdom and kindness. Rest in peace, Coach Bell. Your legacy lives on in all of us.
