Arthur "Doug" Curry, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Doug was a graduate of Central High School and was employed at MSD where he attained his Wastewater license. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Louisville Cardinals Fan! To be in a room with Doug, his sometimes-silly sense of humor would brighten anyone’s day. Doug loved his dogs especially his Jack Russell,Rudy who he joked was a full-grown German Shepherd. Doug Loved to Run and was proud of the many marathons he completed.
He was born on October 8, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky to Leonard and Marva (Scott) Curry. He is preceded in death by his Father, Leonard Curry, Sr. and Mother, Marva Curry.
Doug is survived by his loving Daughter, Kanedria (Jennifer Charlton) Wilson; Siblings, Macdonald Curry, Leonard (Valerie) Curry, Jr., Xavier Curry, Jeffrey (Deborah) Curry, Michael Curry, and Leslie (Jeremiah) Capers; Significant Other, Marlene Aldrich, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
