Arthur Dale "Dale" Hall

Arthur Dale Hall, known lovingly as Dale, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana, at the age of 77. Born on July 3, 1948, in Cave City, Arkansas, Dale lived a life defined by love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Dale's early roots in Arkansas shaped his hardworking spirit and strong values. His journey later brought him to Evansville, where he spent his final years surrounded by the warmth, laughter, and companionship of his large and devoted family. Dale's children, April Bennett and Michael Calhoun, and a guiding presence to his stepchildren, Pamela (Tony) Graham, Teresa (Dwayne) Mossberger, and Dennis (Teresa) Jones.

He leaves behind a lasting legacy through his many grandchildren-Brittany, Allen, Michael Jr., Wes, Melody, Cody, Anthony, Deon, Curtis, Mary Lovell, Mark Lovell, Croy Mossberger, Amanda Hughes, Brian Jones, Tiffany Jones, Brandon Jones, Bruce Jones, and Tyler Jones-along with numerous great-grandchildren and extended family members who deeply loved and admired him.

Throughout his life, Dale found purpose in hard work. He took pride in his career as both a truck driver and a taxi driver, always known for his dependability and strong work ethic. Beyond his work, he embraced life's simple joys: visiting family in Arkansas, spending peaceful hours on his porch drawing and writing, and listening to the classic country music he adored. His appreciation for beauty and freedom was reflected in his well-loved collection of bald eagle memorabilia.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Naomi Hall, his wife Linda Hall, his stepson Daryl Jones, his grandchild Sarah Jones, and his siblings Jim Hall, Elson Hall, Donald Hall, Eddie Hall, Faye Petty (Chamness), Janie Beasley, Vema Johnson, and Martha Abderhold. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.

As family and friends say farewell, they celebrate a life filled with laughter, creativity, and the unbreakable bonds of family. Dale's gentle spirit, his love for storytelling, and his quiet moments of reflection leave behind memories that will be treasured forever.

Dale's memory will forever remain a comforting presence in the hearts of his family and friends.

Chapel service will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 10am at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
