Arthur "Spider" Jarrow

Arthur "Spider" Jarrow entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the age of 95. He was a native of Edgard, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Arthur served his country in the United States Army. "Spider", as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was a retired cook with Ochsner Healthcare. Beloved husband of the late Carrie White Jarrow. Loving father of Marshall Payton, Alberta Major, Lorenza Jarrow, Deborah Johnson, Pamela Williams, Odessa Perkins, and Roosevelt "Chubby" Small. Grandfather of the late Linsey Morris. Son of the late Achian Jarrow and Lorenza Saul. Stepson of the late James Saul, Sr. Grandson of the late Silas and Virgina Edwards. Brother of Ethel Mae Johnson, Evelyn Jackson, Beverly Saul, and the late St. Thalia Favorite, Lawrence Alexander, Ralph Favorite, and James "Jimmy" Saul, Jr. Godfather of Darolyn Russell, also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchild, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Hope of Faith Ministries, priest and parishioners of Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church of Bridge City, LA are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Bishop Hardy Frazier officiating.
