57 Good people pass away; the Godly often die before their time.
But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand
that God is protecting them from the evil to come.

Bernard "Jack" Jarrow III, a Freight Coordinator and Operator Assistant for Cargo Lyfe, LLC at the age of 52 transitioned peacefully from this life to everlasting life with our father in heaven on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Ochsner Medical Center, Jefferson, LA. Bernard, III was born to Bernard Jarrow, Jr. and Nora Coxie in New Orleans, LA on August 3, 1971.
Bernard was a native and lifelong resident of
Laplace, LA. He often showed unconditional love for his family and friends where throughout his life he was often seen as transforming the lives of everyone he encountered, especially the women that caught his eyes and attention. Bernard received his education in the St. John the Baptist Parish School system and during his junior high and high school years, he was a Saxophone player and ultimately became a Drum Major at East St. John High School. Bernard brought a bounty of beauty to everything he did, especially on that grill where he proclaimed to be the master griller. He had an infectious smile with a hilarious sense of humor and had the remarkable ability to connect with people by sharing himself and evoking that same spirit of love to each person he knew.
Bernard will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memories: His parents, Bernard, Jr (Rita) Jarrow of Edgard, LA and Nora (Richard) Coxie of
Laplace, LA. He was the devoted father of Bernard, Jordane, and Shanta Duronslet, Da' Nario Scott, Cash Alexander Sr., Darrius Batiste, Davante White, and Lauriel Jarrow.
In addition to his parents and children, Bernard "Jack" Jarrow III leaves to cherish his memories, his grandchildren: Jordane Jr, Jahari, Brycen, and Brayden Duronslet, Cash Alexander, Jr. Destiny Anderson, and Eli Brown; his siblings Valencia "Val" Jarrow, Damon (Tanya) Jarrow, Nadine (Toby) Bailey, Nadia Jarrow, Tevince Gordon, and Dillon (Mariah) Gordon.
Additionally, Bernard III is survived by two aunts: Peggy Jarrow and Constance Osum; six uncles: Irving, Henry, Billy, Gerry, Joseph, and Kenneth Bright; one godchild: Stacie Cosey. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his grandson Bernard Duronslet Jr, and his niece Damonisha Davis, his paternal grandparents Bernard Sr, and Gladys Jarrow and his maternal grandparents Irvin Sr, and Rosa Lee Bright. His aunts: Jacqueline Thompson, Mary Ann Batiste, Juanita Ward, and Willa Mae Cosey; His uncles: Ulysses Sr and Louis Jarrow
Relatives and friends of the family along with Pastors, Officers and Members of Greater Golden Grove Baptist Church and all surrounding churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Golden Grove Baptist Church, 127 South Mulberry Street Gramercy, LA 70052, Pastor Ulysses Jarrow, Jr.- Officiating. Visitation 9:00 am until time of service at the above-named church. Interment St. John Memorial Gardens, 2205 W. Airline Hwy,
