Arthur K. "Dinky" Lowe

Arthur K. "Dinky" Lowe, age 92, passed away at a local nursing home following an extended illness. Dinky as he was known by, was born to Kelly and Stella Adele (Davidson) Lowe on February 3, 1932 in Bruni, Texas. He grew up there and attended school in Bruni. He moved to the Three Rivers area and found the love of his life and he and Lucy Chaney married. They raised their 7 children. Dinky worked in the oilfield and traveled around from location to location. After retiring he and Lucy loved to travel and hit the casino's. It was relaxing for them to travel and could have fun too!! He loved to hunt and fish with his friends. Being outdoors in the quiet of the pastures was his type of music. He never listened to music...to the noise...
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lucy, his 3 brothers and his sister along with a grandson Coy Lowe.
Survivors include his children: Kelly (Lora) Lowe of Three Rivers, Ricky (Terri) Lowe of Ft. Worth, Nadine Hall of Luling, Pam Lowe, Sherry Lowe, Roger Lowe and Lottie (Clayton) Stewart of Caldwell, Texas.
He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2024 beginning at 12 Noon with Funeral Service to begin at 1 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers.
There will be a private family burial.
