My heart broke when I heard this news. Arty was the best and will always have a special place in my heart - - I loved him very much. As you know I was the adopted "cousin" and have very fond memories of all the good times we had growing up. I'd call him every year for his birthday and he'd always pick up the phone and we would catch up on what was going on in our lives. When I spoke to him in August he said he was never happier with his life. The call would always end with an "I Love You" from both of us. He always had a smile on his face and the biggest hugs, where you'd almost lose your breath. I will miss him and now he's in heaven with Janine and all the other family members raising hell. My thoughts and prayers go to the family at this difficult time. My heart is very heavy and is weeping. I love all of you! RIP My Dear Arty until we meet again. I Love You!

I loved Arty from the moment he was born. His mother, Hopie is my best and longest friend. Always a smile, always a hug, always the biggest and loudest "hi my Auntie Ingrid". To think I will never hear those words again or feel that bear hug is unthinkable. However, the memories I have will always be with me. He touched all of my families life's too. To know him was joy and all of my friends in Miami always ask about him. He will be missed by all that knew him. My condolences go out to each and every one of his family and friends.
My darling Arty,
My prayers are with you and may you Rest In Peace. God is now on your side and you on his and all those angels. They will have a happier heaven because of you. Whenever I shall see the brightest star I know you are the one making it shine.
Your Auntie Ingrid will always love you.

My cousin, its so hard to put into words how I feel. Im heartbroken. All I can do is think about you and all the fun times we had growing up with you in our lives. Only the good die young and I guess thats why he took you. I wish I could change time and bring you back again. I miss and love you and will never forget you. Till we meet again.

Arty and I worked together for the past 3+ years. Always smiling, always singing and upbeat. Never new his last name or his specific life history, but knew all I needed to know by working with him - he was the nicest person you ever want to meet. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. RIP Artie. Plumbing is now closed.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that I acknowledge
Arty's passing. My regret is that due to both logistics and conditions, I did not have the opportunity to get to know him. He was my brothers son...my nephew. My family offers prayers for Arty, his family and relatives. God Bless all.
