Arthur Zamarripa, age 63, of Des Plaines, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 22nd.
Son of Jose and Elisa Zamarripa, Arthur was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. At the age of 4 Arthur and his family immigrated to Chicago.
Arthur was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. He was a dedicated and beloved part of Andy Frain and the communications field with Portable Communications for many years.
The commanding presence that Arthur had was noticed by all. Not only was he not the type of person who did not blend into a crowd, he was a great friend to all who knew him.
Although he had many friends, Arthur's family were his pride and joy. He loved his wife & 5 children immensely. He took great pride in their accomplishments and loved them all deeply.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kari Zamarripa, his children Angela Zamarripa, Nicholas Zamarripa, Zachary Zamarripa, Samantha Zamarripa, and Arianna Zamarripa, his father Jose Zamarripa, his siblings Jose Zamarripa Jr., Laura Meza, and Maria Zamarripa, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Arthur was reunited with his mother, Elisa Zamarripa, and his sister Martha Zamarripa, who preceeded him in death.
