He is survived by his siblings, Paul Castillo of Port Huron, MI., Maria Castillo (Alonso Garcia, Sr.) of Port Huron, MI., Erasmo Castillo of Port Huron, MI., Marylou Castillo (Brian Sullivan) of Port Huron, MI., Martha VanHoorne (David Quinn) of Port Huron, MI., Jessie Castillo of Port Huron, MI., Jose Castillo of Port Huron, MI., Chris Castillo of Port Huron, MI., Norma Pakulski (Anthony Pakulski) of Ruby, MI., and Debbie Miller (Kevin Miller) of Jeddo, MI., and his good friend Tim Gostinger of Port Huron Twp., MI., and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He graduated from Port Huron High School and went on to serve four years in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at General Motors and retired from there. He loved to golf, that was one big reason for residing in Florida. He loved his Harley motorcycle and loved living in Florida to be able to ride. He taught himself to play the guitar and the keyboard. He was a Texas hold em fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ascension A. Castillo, Sr. and his mother Raquel T. Castillo, a sister Maria Blanca, a brother Rudy Castillo, and a brother Domingo T. Castillo.
Cremation has taken place.
