Warren Willard Ledsworth, age 94, of Fort Gratiot Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 31, 2025.
Warren was born on November 8, 1930, in Port Huron, son of the late Alma and Veda Ledsworth. He attended the Port Huron schools, and graduated from Port Huon High School in 1949.
Warren married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Jones on October 5, 1949 and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage together until her passing on April 9, 2014.
At age 12, Warren drove a milk route for his Father's business, Lake Huron Dairy. He worked for Kerr Albert Office Supply for many years, eventually starting his own business, Ledsworth's Business Machine Service in the early 1980s until he retired in 1993.
Warren cherished all animals and in his youth, was a gifted horseman. A real sports enthusiast, he played in the Port Huron Slo-ball League for over 30 years; coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball; finally taking up golf until age 92. He was passionate about his health, working out 5 days a week at Planet Fitness and walking the mall or along the St. Clair River boardwalk until age 93.
Warren is survived by his children, Julia (Bill) Qualls, Paula Berger, Sylvia (Dan) Maxfield, Paul Ledsworth, and Amy (Jeremy) Kondrath; his eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Doan, Esther Brooks; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, he was preceded in death by three of his children, Clyde Ledsworth, Laura Nichols, and Janet Osborn; and three siblings, Ernest Ledsworth, Lorraine Rich, and Lois Ledsworth.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Memorial-Smith Chapel, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron, Michigan 48060.
