A true bright ray of sunshine, her warmth brings joy to everyone she touches, illuminating even the hardest days.

Ashley has a profound relationship with her Creator, filling her life with purpose and unwavering joy. One of her most treasured moments is her dream wedding to her soulmate, Chris, against the breathtaking backdrop of a Maui beach. She revels in the immense joy her two grandsons, James Robert and Patrick Kent, bring into her life—her love for them knows no bounds. Ashley's heart swells with pride for her son, Austin, whose happiness is her greatest treasure. The close bond she shares with his wife, Amanda, fills every moment with delight.

Her Father, Kent, and Beckie, provide unwavering support and love, creating cherished memories that Ashley holds deeply.

Her sisters, Robin and Abby, are not just siblings; they are her best friends, sharing a profound bond filled with laughter, trust, and lifelong memories. Their connection is unshakeable, and it is a source of immense comfort in times of need.

Ashley shares a special connection with her niece, Della Barbara Jo, creating countless joyful moments together—from nail appointments to shared giggles, they fill their time with love and laughter.

Ashley cherished the vibrant moments shared with her brother-in-law, Robertson. Their relationship has flourished over time, woven together by a mutual love for music.

Her wonderful cousins feel more like brothers and sisters, bringing Ashley so much laughter and silliness, making life infinitely brighter.

Professionally, Ashley thrives in her role at Americorps, where her passion for making a difference resonates with everyone she encounters. Her impact on those around her is profound; her boss and coworker hold her in the highest regard, continuously cheering her on in her endeavors. Throughout her life, Ashley has cultivated friendships that become her steadfast pillars, supporting her through every high and low.

Even in the face of adversity, Ashley remains a beacon of hope and positivity—a true fighter who faces each day with resilience.

Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing she is cradled in the arms of her mother and surrounded by loved ones in her eternal home. There, she dances joyfully, and we look forward to the day we can celebrate together once more.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming love and support we continue to receive during this challenging time. Ashley lives a blessed and happy life, and we honor her memory as we carry her light forward into the world.

Rest peacefully, sweet Ashley. You will forever be our sunshine.
