Ashley M. Kain

Ashley M. Kain, age 29, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 19, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1996, to Rick and Susie Kain
Born and raised in Appleton, Ashley was a proud graduate of Appleton Central and dedicated the past 10 years to her work as a manager at Subway, where she was known for her strong work ethic, warm personality, and unwavering dedication to her team. Ashley had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether it was hunting and fishing up north with her family or spending time by the water, she found joy and comfort and felt most at home in nature. She also loved getting her family and friends together to play board games or cards and cherished the memories and quality time they provided. Above all, Ashley was a devoted mother. Her greatest joy in life was being a mom, and she poured her heart into every moment she spent with her family and loved ones. Her strength, kindness, and vibrant spirit will live on in the memories of those she held closest.
Ashley will be deeply missed by her children: Riley and Luma; parents: Rick and Susie Kain; brother, Jake Kain; her significant other, Brian Coates; grandmother, Lola Vanden Wyngaard; as well as her birth family who she was so grateful to have such a close bond with: Melissa and Dale Nelson, Andrew, Isaac, and Jaxon. Ashley is further survived by many extended family members and friends.
Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mory and Ceil Vanden Wyngaard and Gordy and Charlotte Kain; as well as her brother and Jake's twin, Lucas. While nothing can fill the hole left in their hearts, Ashley's family finds comfort in knowing Ashley, along with her "Little Peanut," were welcomed at the gates of Heaven by her dear family members who passed before them.
A Funeral Service for Ashley will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton.
