Asia A. Slaughter

Asia Aaliyah Slaughter was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Capital Health Medical Center at Hopewell in Pennington, New Jersey, with her family by
her side.
Asia was born August 9, 1989,in Trenton,NewJersey at Mercer Hospital, to Hakeem Ali Mohammed and Michelle Slaughter. She was educated in the Ewing Township School District, where she graduated from Ewing 'High School in 2008.
Asia worked for the State of New Jersey at Ann Klein Forensic and IHOP in Ewing, NewJersey until her illness prevented her from working.
Asia always greeted you with her kind smile and gentle spirit. She was always the life of the party and love to laugh and have a good time with her family and friends. She loved her family
unconditionally. Asia children was her world, she will truly be missed by them.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alfred & Emma Richardson, and Maude & Hubert Brewington; her paternal grandparents, Felix Slaughter and Mary Givens Slaughter-Brown; her aunts, Phyllis Daniels, Jean Jones, Janice McEwen, and Kim Clark; her uncles, Lonnie Marshall, Alfonzo Slaughter, Felix Slaughter, and Eric Strozier; and two cousins, Thomas Marshall (Lionel) and Tanesha Marshall.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Asya Slaughter Moore, Azeem Slaughter Moore, and Azaria Dollson; her parents, Hakeem Ali Mohammed and Michelle Slaughter; her grandparents, Veronica (Cluewell) Williams; three brothers, Kareem Slaughter, Raheem Slaughter, and Christopher Burke; a sister, Yasmeen Slaughter; her God sisters, T iffany Pack and Cherise Kirkland; her aunts, Brenda (Cliff) Adams, Brenda (Burton) Mack, Mattie Mapp,Jackie Davis, Denise Irby, and Helena Richardson; her God parents, Rachel McGill, Harold Harrison, and Kimani Abyombi; her uncles, Steven Slaughter, Theodore Brown, Hubert, Greg, Carl, and OD Brewington; her children fathers, Antwan Moore and Anthony Dollson; her special friends, The Crew, J'onnee Pack, Gaylen Marshall (cousin), Carla Neal (cousin), T ina Burkes, Eboni Wade, Cherise Kirkland, and Diane Williams. Asia willtruly be missed by her nieces, nephews, great aunts, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 11am Friday, October 25, 2024 at Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 66 Race St., Trenton, NJ 08638. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
