James McGuire Obituary

James was a graduate of Ewing High school, with 2 years of education at Notre Dame High School (grades 9-10). James also attended Mercer County Community College for one year.
"Jay Kountree" as he was affectionately known spent his younger days playing in multiple recreational and travel baseball, soccer, and basketball leagues where he established his well-known name "Kountree" after the NBA player Bryant "Big Country" Reeves who was well known for shot blocking.
James provided years of service in multiple restaurants in the Mercer County area, while building his musical empire. He established and founded Mohican Entertainment and co-founded Club Crusades. He curated many events within Mercer County, and as of recently took over Philadelphia, and Austin, Texas. James' passion for music began as a child, but his passion for DJ-ing started from a home base, and close friend Big Jae.
James was affiliated with the Catholic Church. James also took pride in being one of the founding members of the local chapter of the Trenton Hibernians.
James was predeceased by his step-sister, Sloane Danielle Murphy. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his father, James Gerard McGuire, II; mother and Stepfather, Shelly Murphy (Bill); stepsister, Kellie Chavonne and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
James not only loved curating events but sharing his knowledge with friends, family, and community.
