Shirley Ann Bowman

Shirley Ann Bowman, departed this life on Friday, October 17, 2025 at home with her family by her side.
She was born on November 15, 1952 in Trenton, NJ. She was a graduate of Trenton Central High School. Shirley was employed by Bell Telephone and AT&T as a telephone operator for 30 yrs. She retired to be an at home grandmother for Cartier Bowman. She never changed her course of life after retirement, by also caring for her nieces and nephews.
Shirley was an avid reader till her vision started to fail. Her life revolved around her daughter and grandsons. She also extended herself to family and friends whenever an ear was needed to listen, shoulder to lean on, or simply help clean - SHE WAS SPECIAL and LOVED BY ALL.
She is predeceased by her mother, Alice Bowman Pitt; her father, Charles Williams Sr.; brothers, Carl (Sunshine) Williams and John (Tight) Williams; aunts, Rev. Mary Gay and Christine White and an uncle, Horace Bowman.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her daughter, Risca Bowman (Maurice Dixon); grandsons, Cartier (Tyana Diaz) and Christian Bowman; brother, Charles Williams, Jr.; sister-in-law, Raeshelle Williams; nieces, Danielle Peters (Earl), Jasmin Harvey, Tiffani Williams, and Zarria Williams (Jordan Jefferson), Elite Gacin (Steve) and Brooklyn Williams; great nieces, Kyndelle Monae Harvey, Solana Rae Williams and Alani Noelle Jefferson; nephews, Ryan Keels (Diane) and John C Williams II (Disleiny Rubiera), Carl E Williams II (Micaela Ann), Harlem Williams and Chris Harvey; aunts, Jane Smith, Juanita Lambert and Theresa Downing and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
