.Aubrey James Cognevich was born in Buras, LA, on September 2, 1943, to the late Earl John Cognevich and the late Louise Solis Cognevich. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 22, 2026. He was a native of Belle Chasse, LA.
He is survived by his siblings Adana Davis, Brenda Beall and Terry Cognevich. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Buras, Earl S. Cognevich, Wayne Cognevich, Robert Cognevich, and Alvin Cognevich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He worked as a fisherman for Donald Halphen in Buras, LA, until his retirement. He enjoyed riding his bike and loved spending time with family.
Funeral Services will be private.
