Audrey Borthwick, of Hazel Park, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Curry House Assisted Living. She was 85.

Audrey was born on March 18, 1940 in Iowa to Earl and Willetta (Loper) Wolff. She spent her career working as an office manager for many years. She entered into marriage with Clarence Borthwick, the couple spent 26 years together until his time of passing on February 14, 2022. In her spare time, she could often be found watching a Detroit Tigers game, as she was an avid fan. She was an incredibly kind-hearted person and would help anyone in need. Audrey would donate at every opportunity, especially to her church. She was actively involved in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Audrey is survived by her loving children, Cliff (Kim) Tommas of Taylor, Susan Hoobler of Ferndale, and Rick (Donna) Tommas of McBain; grandchildren, Linda (Ryan) Pinder, Megan Tommas, Shelby (Tom) Whalin, Greg Hoobler, Shannon Hoobler and Ben Tommas; great-grandchildren, Meglyn, Jordyn, Talulah, Karter, Nonni, Cole, Logan, Rhys, Aleah, Renley; brother, Dan (Beverly) Wolff; sister, Earla Schwartz; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Borthwick; parents, Earl and Willetta Wolff; two sisters, Kathy and Nancy; and a brother, Bill.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the caregivers at Curry House Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice.
