Audrey Ladene Campbell, 90, of Rigby, passed away October 12, 2025, at Rigby Lake Assisted Living. She was under the care of One Source Home Health and Hospice.
Ladene was born September 24, 1935, in Rosemary, Alberta, Canada, to Carl Weston Lybbert and Mae Ullila Ogden Lybbert. She grew up and attended schools in Alberta, Canada and graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1952.
On June 4, 1957, she married Dick Weldon Campbell in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. Ladene and Dick made their home in Rigby, Idaho, where Ladene was a homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as the Relief Society President at 80 years old, and she loved genealogy and did work on over 1 million names. She was an avid quilter and seamstress. She loved baseball and softball and played until she was 40 years old. She also enjoyed canning and was a card player extraordinaire.
Ladene is survived by her son, Dick (Jan) Campbell of Spring Creek, NV, son, Neal (Linda) Campbell of Helena, MT, son, Jess (Deanna) Campbell of Saratoga Springs, UT, son, Darrell (Dalisay) Shyface of Logandale, NV, daughter, Debbie (Porter) Talbot of Rigby, ID, daughter, Julie (Kevin) Bortman of Las Vegas, NV, son, Dennis (Dina) Campbell of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Jerry (Carol Ann) Lybbert of Provo, UT, and Dan (Ruth) Lybbert of Rigby, ID; 66 grandchildren and 99 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Campbell; her parents, Carl and Mae Lybbert; daughter, Wendy Brox; brothers, Bob Lybbert, and John Arlo Lybbert; sisters, Jean Sand, and Darleen Wright.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Garfield 12th Ward, 106 North 3800 East, Rigby, Idaho. The family will visit with friends from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to St. Joseph’s Indian School in South Dakota at stjo.org.
