Audrey passed away of natural causes at the age of 90 years at StoryPoint Assisted Living in Powell, OH after months of failing health. Audrey was born in Youngstown, OH, and lived in Poland, OH for 60 years before moving to Powell. She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen J. Crea in 1995, a World War II Air Force veteran and engineer for the State of Ohio, as well as her parents, Nicola and Lucia Daltorio (Ferrera) of Campbell, OH. Audrey was also preceded in death by three brothers -- William, Carl and Joseph Daltorio – and six sisters -- Christina Moretti, Grace Bahanna, Elsie Triscori, Ida Puliga, Delores Mediate and Patricia Simchick.
In addition to being a homemaker and devoted mother, Audrey was a licensed beautician who did hair styling for family and friends as well as working at Toriello's, the family's Italian grocery store in Struthers, OH. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish (formerly St. Nicholas) in Struthers, and active in the Women's Auxiliary of VFW Post 3538. Audrey mostly enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Prior to her move to assisted living, she spent most of her leisure time cooking and baking for her large extended family, friends, and church. She was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, professional wrestling, and Family Feud.
Audrey is survived by two sons, Dr. Joseph E. Crea (Kathy) of Powell and Stephen N. Crea of Bonita Springs, FL. Audrey had 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was affectionately known as "Aunt Tootsie" by her many nieces and nephews. A private interment service will be held at Saint John the Baptist Cemetery in Lowellville, OH, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, parents, and siblings.

Hi Joe and Steve, I am so sorry for your loss. I am thinking about some of the great times we had together as kids. One of my best memories is when your Mom would make spare ribs and we would have a feast.
