Celebration of life will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133.
Audrey was born on August 27, 1944, in Brisbane, Australia, and lived a life full of adventure, elegance, and curiosity. With a successful 30-year career in promotional sales, she brought charisma and dedication to everything she did.
Audrey had a true passion for travel, exploring the beauty of Australia, Europe, China, and nearly every corner of the United States. She especially loved Colorado, where she enjoyed skiing and hiking in the fresh mountain air. When it was time to unwind, she found peace at her beloved beach house in Destin, Florida.
Known for her impeccable taste, Audrey was a devoted shopper and a lover of fine dining, Nordstrom will surely miss one of its most loyal patrons. Her vibrant spirit, sense of style, and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Audrey will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by: father, Walter Heslop; mother, Marjorie Heslop; and family dog, Muffin Mathison.
Survivors include: son, Chris Mathison (Emily Braly); grandson, Jake Mathison; granddaughters, Nikki Mathison, Abbie Braly and Allie Braly.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kansas City Hospice House.
