Audrey Christine "Chris" Miller, 87, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025. She was born September 2, 1937 to Raymond and Adell (Peters) Flowers in Centralia, Illinois.
Chris, a devout Christian and member of the 161 Church of Christ, spent her early adult years raising her family and working for Illinois Bell, Farm Fresh and Ace Hardware. She retired from Ace Hardware in 2006 and spent the years since doing what she loved most: being surrounded by her family. Chris will be remembered fondly by all who knew her for her quick wit, baked goods, crocheted wares, and for being an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She loved being surrounded by her family, while her grandkids ran in and out of her house getting snacks.
Chris is survived by her children: Kristi Bodine, Kim (Bill) Kingsley, Kelly Miller, and Kevin (Vicki) Miller; twenty grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her much loved church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Freddie Flowers, Neva Forrester, and Nancy Donohue; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Chris Miller will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois. Visitation will be held Friday at the Funeral Fome from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home located at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Chris's Family.
