Audrey Polhamus

Audrey Polhamus, beloved mother to 6 children, Age 86, of Sparta WI, passed away with family at her side on Wednesday, March 26th, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Audrey was born in Edson, WI to Ben and Izola Lorenz. A kinder soul one could not meet. Audrey was devout in her faith and enjoyed nothing more than her family. Her love and commitment to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was unshakeable. After retiring from her job with Monroe County, she could often be found in Bloomer, WI fishing during the summer. Her catches were then enjoyed at every family gathering.

Audrey was a devoted mother and wife to Clifford "Bud" Charles Polhamus, Jr. and children Tracy (Robert) Olson, Samuel Polhamus, Valarie (Pat) Gerardy, Boyd (Sandee) Polhamus, Josh Polhamus, Andrew (Traci) Polhamus. Grandchildren Derek (Mindy Stetzer) Wegner, Mckenzie (Trey) Beck, Beckie Austin (Brandon Thompson), Jacquelline (Aaron) Van Ravenhorst, Veronica (Jake) Falk, Samantha Polhamus, Kaylie (Matt) Stoffregen, Walker Polhamus, Brock Polhamus, Vince Polhamus. Great Grandchildren Adriana Stetzer-Lemke, Cora Wegner, Jameson Wegner, Evan Austin, Tate Austin, Raylea Austin, Audrey Beck, Arie Van Ravenhorst, Hendrix Falk, Ledger Stoffregen. She is also survived by her brother Ben Lorenz.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Clifford "Bud" Charles Polhamus, Jr and son Josh Polhamus. Audrey was also preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Audrey's family is deeply thankful for the care and compassion that Gundersen Hospice provided them.
