Audrey was born on March 12, 1927 in Shady Grove, FL. She was a member of Hiland Park Baptist Church and Friendship Sunday School Class. Audrey was a homemaker who loved and cared for her children and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Al Vincent; son, Ronnie Vincent; granddaughter, Sherri Pope; and sons-in-law, Don Hawthorne, Don White and Jeff Foster.
Left to treasure Audrey's memory are her daughters, Connie Mettille (Mike), Sandy Lawrence (Dickie), Paula Bunch (Charles) and Jeanette Hawthorne; sons, Tony Vincent and Jesse Pope; grandchildren, Donny Hawthorne (Lisha), Chris Hawthorne (Jennifer), Kim Garbett (Drew), Chuck Bunch, Sonny Vincent (Jeanne), Tracy Odle (Jerry), Shonda Johnson, Lamar Hobbs (Amy), Brandon Foster (Angie), Jessyca Foster, Jon Michael Mettille (Savannah), Kathleen Singletary (Greg) and Cree Vincent; 28 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Gail Stevens and Linda Mitchell.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Carl Fondren and Pastor Sandi Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bayou George Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Donny Hawthorne, Chris Hawthorne, Chuck Bunch, Sonny Vincent, Lamar Hobbs, Brandon Foster and Jon Michael Mettille. Honorary pallbearers include the members of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or The Council on Aging/Meals on Wheels.
