Austin Daniel Jaynes, a vibrant soul known for his humorous spirit and courageous heart, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Born on February 9, 1990, in Detroit, he was a son, brother, uncle, mentor and above all, a dedicated father to his beloved children, Evelyn and Symphony Jaynes who he adored and coparentented with their loving mother, Sabrina Finnemore.

His memory will live on through the unwavering love of his parents, Lonnie and Pamela Jaynes; his siblings, Arthur, Arnold, Joseph, John, Candice, Brittney, Lonnie, Nikki, Kaylie, Tyler, Bryanna, and Tia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives he touched.

Austin was preceded in death by his birth parents, Bonnie Smith and Arthur Rolack, and his siblings, Alisha and Jordan Jaynes. The legacy he leaves behind continues to shine brightly in the lives of those he cherished.

Austin's capable hands as a master mechanic were a testament to his work ethic and passion for cars. A well-respected figure both professionally and personally, his colleagues will remember him as a man who could be counted on.

Comedian, entertainer extraordinaire, gummy bear enthusiast, sports junkie. Austin was a lover not a fighter but he was never one to back down from a challenge. According to him 2nd place was losing and he always won! That spirit of determination carried him through many difficulties in life.

He was the leader of the pack, fiercely independent, competitive, and relentlessly protective of the people he loved.

Heaven has called this warrior home. We will miss him until we meet again, this world will never be the same.

Austin we love you forever, we'll like you for always. As long as we're living our baby you'll be.

A celebration of Austin's life will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.with services beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Grace Memorial Cremations and Burials 35135 Harper Avenue, Clinton Township, Michigan 48035.
