Autumn Rain Ales, 8, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Friday, October 3rd, 2025. A memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 17, 2025 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Craig Smee officiating.
Autumn was born September 26, 2017 in Brownwood, Texas to Shawn Ales and Linda Gonzales. She attended Coggin Intermediate School in Brownwood and was an A & B Honor roll student who loved her school, teachers and classmates. She was always smiling and loved putting a smile on everyone's face that she met. Autumn was a singer and loved to sing while she danced. An artist who loved arts and crafts, drawing, coloring and creating. She loved to play dress up with her sisters and do make-overs. Although Autumn did not play sports, she loved to pretend she was a gymnast and was quite good. Autumn had so much love to give and it showed everyday with just her smile, her sweet voice and all of her compassion.
Autumn is survived by her parents, Linda Gonzales and husband, Shawn Ales of Brownwood; sisters, Araya Gonzales & Gracie Ales of Brownwood; brothers, Isaiah Ales, John Ales & Devin Ales of Brownwood; grandparents, Candance Gonzales of Brownwood & John Andrew Gonzales Sr. of Franklin; Nanny, Leigh Koller and Marty Griffin of Navasota, Texas; Uncles, Jacob Sanders, Andrew Gus Gonzales Sr. and wife Keanna of Brownwood and Justin Crane and wife Brittney Holliday of Bryan, TX; Aunts, Cody Crane of Somerville, TX, Misty Ales of California and Tara Seman of California; a great grandmother, great aunts and uncles and many cousins and friends.
Autumn was preceded in death by her Nanpa, Richard Paul Ales and Nana, Linda Joy Hyvl, great grandpa Jesse Gonzales, great aunt Jimmie Sanders, uncle Ryan Griffin.
