Ayden James Scharper, 19, of Coopersburg, PA, passed away on June 6, 2025, far too soon. Born in Bethlehem, he was the beloved son of Noah Scharper and Jessica (Lazurick) Scharper.
Ayden graduated from Southern Lehigh High School in 2023 and was continuing his education at Muhlenberg College, where he was studying Business. A dedicated and driven young man, Ayden brought energy and focus to everything he pursued.
He previously worked at Bear Creek Mountain Resort as a snowboard instructor and also held positions at Brooks Brothers and Planet Fitness.
Ayden had a zest for life and a passion for sports, travel, and adventure. He enjoyed snowboarding, soccer, football, futsal, weightlifting, and spending time with friends. A talented athlete, he competed in soccer, football, and track at Southern Lehigh High School, and continued playing football at Muhlenberg College as a kicking specialist.
One of his proudest moments came when he helped lead the Southern Lehigh boys’ soccer team to win both the Colonial League and District Championships—an achievement the school hadn’t seen in 22 years.
Ayden was happiest when he was on the move—traveling, laughing with teammates, or enjoying time with those he cared about. Above all, he deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to his parents, Ayden is survived by his brother, Noah Scharper; his paternal grandparents, Gloria Scharper and Al & Laura Scharper; and his maternal grandparents, Paula & Dan Rempp and Ken Lazurick. He is also remembered with love by his aunts and uncles: Maria, Gregg, Aaron, and Ange Scharper, as well as Jason and Danielle Lazurick, along with many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit and remember Ayden on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd., 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM.
