Baltazar Salgado

Baltazar Salgado passed away peacefully on the morning of August 21, 2025, in Aurora, Illinois, at the age of 60.
He was born on January 6, 1965, in El Zape, Guanaceví, Durango, Mexico. He was the son of the late Felipa Lopez and Jose Salgado. Baltazar eventually made his way to Aurora, Illinois, where he built a life for himself and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Salgado (Vargas), and their two daughters, Yesenia and Ariana Salgado. He also leaves behind his siblings: Jesus Jose Salgado, Maria Velazquez, Cecilia Velazquez, and Antonio Salgado, along with their spouses, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Angel Salgado.
Baltazar was known for being a hardworking and dependable man. He spent the last 20 years working at ATMI Precast, where he earned the respect of his coworkers. Earlier in life, he worked with horses, something he loved and always talked about with pride.
He was a quiet man who led by example. He loved his family and worked hard to give them the best life he could. His absence will be felt more than words can say.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 5 PM to 8 PM at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora, IL 60506. A funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11 AM, also at The Healy Chapel. Interment will take place at Spring Lake Cemetery, 740 Lincoln Ave, Aurora, IL 60506.
