Passed away on September 8, 2025 at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Alexander; second husband, John Springstead; third husband, Clive Pitter; her son, Michael Alexander; parents, Reginald and Gladys Beckford; siblings, Hillary Dunn, Reginald Beckford Jr., Hope Stephens, and Marjorie Myrie.
She is survived by her son, Wayne (Andrea) Alexander; grandchildren, D'ondre Webb, Ajia Parker, and Mateo Alexander; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Isobel; sisters, Joy Hazel, Dorothy Logan, Yvonne Carroll, and Beverly Smith; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Barbara was a dedicated nurse of 55 years. She always spent her time caring and loving others, even past her career.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20 from 11:30AM - 12:30PM, with a service to follow, at The Prayer Chapel at the Father's House, 692 Paul Road. A private family graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, 150 Middle Rd.
