Greece: at the age of 83, surrounded by family, passed peacefully on September 7th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

After retirement he devoted his time to helping others through charitable organizations including Open Arms & Hearts.
Skip Jr. was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great grandfather. One of his greatest joys came from watching his grandchildren play sports. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, bowler, and loved to watch all sports.
He will be remembered for his generosity, humor, strength, and competitive nature. He lived for his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

My wife and I saw Skip and Anne a few weeks back and we were able to speak to him for a few minutes. I had not seen Skip for over 20 years and yet we shared memories and a lot of laughs from the Mooney years where Mike and I met back in 1985! I am so grateful to have spent that time with him before his passing. Truly one of the funniest and kindest person I know right until the end. Rest in peace Skip!
