Barbara Mary Barbay Hartley

Barbara Mary Barbay Hartley was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 2, 1937.  She passed away in her home in Marrero, Louisiana, on October 11, 2025 , at the age of 88, after a long and fulfilling life.  

She was the beloved daughter of the late Frank Barbay and Elvia Barbay McCauley.  She adored her children, Steven Hartley, Dawn Adams(Kevin), Elvia Juncker(Roy) and Donna Ott(Randy).  She was preceded in death by her brother Tommy Barbay, son Robert Martin(Melissa)and her daughter in law, Cherie Hartley.

Barbara enjoyed her long career at Dimarco Dental, where she worked closely with staff, patients and their families.  

Because of a long life, that was well lived, Barbara had the privilege of loving her grandchildren, Justin Hartley(Brandon), Christopher Martin(Brittany), Jacob Ziegel, Sean Martin(Lauren), Jessica Hartley Pizani(Cameron), Randal Ott, Erika Juncker, her great grandchildren, Aliyah, Tru, Lola and Cami and her nephew Frank Barbay.

Barbara's life revolved around her family, nature, gardening, animals, good food and most importantly, the New Orleans Saints.

To honor her wishes, we will be remembering her privately as a family and encourage you to celebrate her memory in your own way.
