Barbara A. Blanc, 80, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. She was born on January 23, 1945 in Canton, OH to the late Jack L. and Lila Ruth “Burnette” Britton.
She was a 1963 graduate of East Canton High School.
Barbara attended the University of Mount Union for Accounting for 3 years, she retired from the McDermott corporation as an accounting clerk with over 34 years of experience and dedication.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed photography, especially taking photos of her family. She was skilled at sewing and was known for making her own dresses.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of over 57 years Dennis B. Blanc; children, Brian (Christine) Blanc, Jarrod (Andrea) Blanc, Amanda (Richard) McKnight; grandchildren, Jenna Blanc, Derek Blanc, Jackson Blanc, Maxwell Blanc, Tessa Hess and Justin Kirkpatrick; two great-grandchildren Reese and Matilda; sisters, Linda Britton, Debra Ryan, Robyn Spencer, Cindy (Don) Daugherty; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends to pay their respects will be held on Tuesday November 25, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home, 218 Nassau St. E, East Canton, OH 44730
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
