She is survived by her devoted husband, David Bloxton, who stood by her side in a marriage that was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Barbara raised two wonderful children, Brian (married to Topacio) and Charles, who were the pride and joy of her life. Barbara's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Athena and Atticus, who were the recipients of her boundless affection and the best-ever baked chicken and pork chops. Her sisters, Diane and Patty, will forever cherish the memories of their sister, whose guidance and love shaped their lives.

Her kitchen was an alchemy of flavors, where she conjured her delicious made-from-scratch carrot cake that had everyone clamoring for the recipe.
