Barbara Jean Clark, age 84, of Clarkson, passed away, Thursday, January 1, 2026, at her home surrounded by love.

She was born October 12, 1941, in Louisville, to the late, Clarence "Bud" Rough and Mary Hazel Rough.

Barbara married her soul mate, Robert "Buddy" Clark in 1978 and together they made a beautiful life.

She loved to care for others, gardening, playing bingo, her specialty was cooking to bring her family around the table, and mushroom hunting. Barbara loved deeply and cared deeply for all of those in her life. She was a "momma" and "mamaw" to many, even if they were not her own, she would claim them as such. She loved all of her pets, and she was so easy to love by all of those who knew her and will be deeply missed.

She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Benedict Church.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Robert "Buddy" Clark; four sons, Jimmy McKinley, Billy McKinley (Susan), Jeff Clark (Carol), and William "Buddy" Howell; two loving daughters, Penny Stone (Lonnie) and Angela Simon (Darren); along with her "adopted children", Wayne and Kerry Miller and their beautiful girls, who called her "mamaw", and Courtney King; a daughter-in-law, Paula Hoffman; two siblings, Joan Warren (Marion) and Punkin Rough (Jean); 25 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, whom she also cherished.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Clark; two brothers, Sonny Rough and Terry Rough; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Howell.

The funeral mass will be held at 12 Noon (CDT), Monday, January 5, 2026, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Clarkson with Fr. Stephen Van Lal Than and Fr. Brandon Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Elizabeth cemetery in Clarkson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday (January 4,2026) from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Rogers Funeral Home, and from 9 A.M. until 12 noon on Monday at the St. Benedict Catholic Church.
