Barbara Cox

Barbara Ann Cox, 92, of West Monroe, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on November 4, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1933 in Spearsville, Louisiana to Henry and Etha Adcock. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James William Cox; sons, James Randall (Randy) Cox and Rodney Keith Cox; grandson, James Cox; parents, Henry and Etha Adcock; and brother Donald L. Appel.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Colleen Babette Cox; daughters-in-law, Pam Cox Cannon and Susan Cox; grandchildren, Casey, Cayla, Christopher, Haley and John Conner; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Brooklyn, Brendan and Ella Grace; sister-in-law, Charlotte Appel; and other cherished family and friends.
Honoring Barbara as pallbearers are Amado Gomez, Frank Cannon, John Cox, Jerry Blankenship, Wesley Borruano and Brendan Spillers.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 10, 2025 at Holmesville Baptist Church. Bro. Laymond Tucker will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Downsville, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00 AM until the time of service, Monday, November 10, 2025 at the church.
