Jerry Hibbard Sr.

Funeral services for Jerry Hibbard, Sr. will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Rev. David Beebe and Pastor Christopher Miller will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Jerry was born on August 4, 1935, in West Monroe and passed away peacefully at his home on October 26, 2025, in West Monroe. He was a member of First Assembly of God and Harvest Assembly. Jerry was a general contractor for 40 years building nursing homes throughout the state of Louisiana and retired as a building inspector for the city of West Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bertie Ann Cash Hibbard; parents, Beauregard and Ruby Stewart Hibbard; brother, Stephen Hibbard; and sisters, Lelani Hibbard Ostic and Mona Faye Beebe.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jerry S. Hibbard, Jr. and wife Kay Sackman Hibbard; grandchildren, Lindsey Hibbard, Amanda Tanksley, Bonnie Carr, Tucker Hibbard, and Sawyer Hibbard; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Noel Hibbard and wife Beverly; brother-in-law, Larry Cash and wife Sandra; and special family, Darryl and Donna Minter and their children. Jerry leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Trey Spencer, Chase Minter, Chi Hibbard, Donnie Kerr, Darryl Minter, and Mike Payne. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Cash, Johnny Ashbrook and Jim Harvey.
