Barbara Lynn D'Alessandro (nee Elliott), 84 of Avon peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was born February 5, 1938 to parents Vincent and Bernice (nee Eyring) Elliott in Cleveland, OH.
Barbara was a graduate of St. Alexis Hospital School of Nursing. She spent her nursing career taking care of babies and children at St. Alexis, St. John in Cleveland, and in the office of Dr. Muniack. After retiring, she spent some time in the baby room at a day care. She enjoyed going to lunch with her exercise buddies, grade school and nursing school classmates.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert "Bob"; loving children Debra Berkild (Brian), Diana D'Alessandro (Patrick Carroll) and Doreen Kocjan (Brian); dear grandmother of Nicholas Joyce (Briana), Lauren Vilt (Michael), Elliott Joyce (Abbey), Ethan and Emily Kocjan; cherished great-grandmother of Anderson, Eliza and Callie Vilt, Jackson, Peyton and Matthias Joyce.

The family will welcome friends for a visitation on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Busch Funeral Home 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon, OH 44011. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 10:00am at Holy Spirit Church 410 Lear Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012. www.buschcares.com 440.933.3202
