On April 2, 2023, Barbara A. DiAmore (nee Gregg) passed away unexpectedly at Cooper Hospital. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Haddon Heights, Barbara has been a resident of Runnemede for over 50 years. She retired from Bishop Eustace Prep in 2018.
Barbara is lovingly survived by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Joseph R. DiAmore; her children, Cynthia DiAmore and Joseph J. DiAmore; her grandson, Michael Joseph DiAmore-Gallegos; her three brothers, John (Patricia) Gregg, Daniel (Carol) Roccato and Richard Roccato (Gregory Schwab); her brother-in-law, David Marcoccia along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Marcoccia.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, April 10th from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 4th Avenue and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Entombment following at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery, Mt. Laurel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to either the Reading is Fundamental Foundation (www.rif.org), 750 First Street NE, Ste. 920, Washington, DC 20002 Attn: Development Department or Morris Animal Refuge (www.morrisanimalrwfuge.org), 1242 Lombard Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
