She was a graduate of Chenango Valley High School. Employed at General Electric Co., Owner of The House of Treasurers, and was currently employed by St Patrick's Church as Director of Outreach Ministries of the Southern Tier.
Barb had a passion for life and was dedicated to helping people. This was very evident the way she helped customers with planning an event and decorating for them. It also showed the way she assisted the clients at the outreach ministries by doing everything possible to take care of their needs. She was humble, not wanting to take credit for the achievements but accrediting it to having wonderful volunteers that give so much of their time and energy to making the programs work. Barb was the recipient of the Immaculata recognition from the Diocese of Syracuse, in 2018 was Inducted to Chenango Valley Hall of Fame by the alumni and received the Binghamton Sertoma Club Service to Mankind award for 2023.
Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday December 18, 2023, at 11am at Saint Patrick's Church 9 Leroy Street, Binghamton. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 17, 2023, at J.A. McCormack Suns Funeral Home Inc. 141 Main Street, Binghamton NY from 12 noon to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers consider donating to the Outreach Ministries of the Southern Tier. The Mass will be livestreamed at www.sta-sp.org

Sorry to hear of Barb's passing. She was always a positive, outgoing, and kind friend to all she came in contact with. Enjoyed her friendship, energy, and passion she shared with enjoying life. I'll never forget the years we sang together at St. Mary's in the choir, especially during Christmas and Easter. The angels truly are welcoming her! She truly will be missed.

Barb was a wonderful person! I started volunteering for her and Brian a year or so ago! It´s a great place with good people thanks to them! She will be so missed!

I met Barb when we sang together in the Downtown Singers presentations of Messiah each Christmas. We sang in St Patrick´s Church Choir together for years. I had the privilege of helping her in a small way as she spun her magic throughout the community; clothing school children, feeding the poor, providing showers and multiple services for the homeless. Barbs care and compassion knew no bounds. She, and her beloved husband Brian, are truly angels, doing Gods work on this earth. Barb has earned her crown in heaven like no one else I have ever known. I know the Saints and Angels greeted you Barb at the gates of heaven.

There was nothing but special moment for me while knowing Barb. From the moment that I met her she was just so kind and loving to myself and my daughter. Although I met her through work while doing outreach with another agency, she quickly embraced me and my daughter. I had lost my mother years and when I met her I felt my moms presence, From helping with the Christmas toy drive to marching in the St Pats parade, every moment we shared was a memory for me and for my daughter. We both cherish Barb and Bryan both. Barb I know you are looking over all of us, please know that I MISS YOU SO MUCH. Thank you so much for being you
