Barbara Ann England, 73, of Pageton, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025, with her sons by her side. Born May 24, 1952, in Welch, WV, Barbara was the daughter of the late Clyde and Garnett Rose Gullett.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Barbara was a woman of strong faith and quiet joy. She was a member of the Premier Pentecostal Holiness Church and found peace in reading her Bible daily. She had a love for the simple things in life-dressing her baby dolls, tending to her flowers, and playing bingo. Her warmth, strength, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl England; her daughter, Melissa Kay England; her brothers, Bill Gullett and Ronnie Gullett; sister, Carol Hawkins; and son-in-law, Michael Tysinger.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry England and wife Amy of Pageton, WV, and Allen England of the home; daughter, Lisa Tysinger of Denton, NC; and her grandchildren, William Tysinger, Robert Tysinger, Jayden England, and Kayleigh England. Barbara also leaves behind her brothers: Roger Gullett of Roann, IN; Paul Gullett and wife Carol of Premier, WV; David Gullett and wife Sandra of Davy, WV; and Doug Gullett and wife Chris of Martinsburg, WV. Her sisters, Juanita Thomas of Silver Lake, IN, and Ruby Short of Princeton, WV; her best friend of over 40 years, Nancy Barts, and two special nurses who cared for her with compassion, Kandi Toler and Nikki Bryant.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Cemetery in Big Jenny, Davy, WV, with Pastor Randall Dority officiating. Burial will follow. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Though Barbara's earthly journey has ended, her memory will forever remain a light in the lives of those she loved.
